His love ran red
From the moment he bled
Dying for me
He emptied his body.
The weight of my sin
He carried upon him
Being nailed to the cross
So I wouldn’t be lost.
Love doesn’t come
In just one form
The butterflies and flowers
Are meaningless to HIS power.
Just one day
Can’t simply portray
The amount of love
That comes from above.
Like red on a rose
Death he chose
He says, “You are mine,
My forever VALENTINE.”
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whosoever should believe in him, will not perish, but have everlasting life.”
